My first thought upon opening the bag was that these smelled just like starburst candy. Then I ate one. The flavor, as others have mentioned was kinda medicinal, but not off putting. Certainly not starburst candy, like the smell would have led me to believe. No, the issue I had with these was the texture. It was like chewing on play sand (not that I'd know). Less gummy and more like viscous grit. I tried to get over it but there were also large clumps of what I assume was the creatine. They were very hard and uncomfortable to chew. The grittiness and the large clumps did me in. I had to force myself to finish and swallow.I wasn't able to continue using these so I am unable to speak on if the creatine would have any effects.
